In my opinion, Persian cats are pretty funny looking. They look like they ran face first into a door. These cats are pretty high maintenance since they have such long hair. They tend to shed a lot and need to be brushed many times a day so that their hair doesn't become matted. These cats started out in Europe and came to America in the 1800s. There are actually 2 kinds of Persians: the Modern Persian (the one with the flat face) and the Traditional Persian (the one that has a normal face). A good thing about these cats is that they are very affectionate.
They do look funny,but they're cute! The modern persian looks snoodie...
